Shanghai International Children's Book Fair (cCBF) is directed by the Publicity Department of Shanghai municipal Party committee (Shanghai Press and Publication Bureau), CO sponsored by Shanghai Xinhua Distribution Group Co., Ltd., China Education Publishing Media Group Co., Ltd. and global press and Publication Development Co., Ltd., and hosted by Shanghai Rongbo Exhibition Co., Ltd. Since its establishment in 2013, it has rapidly established its increasingly significant position in the international publishing market. It is the only professional exhibition focusing on children's book publishing and children's content in the Asia Pacific region.

In the eight years of development, cCBF has closely focused on the theme of "together with the world and the future", providing an excellent exchange platform for children's book copyright trade, marketing distribution and cross-border cooperation, and playing an important role in improving the quality of children's literature and promoting children's reading. Since 2018, cCBF has joined hands with bcbf, the world's largest international children's book fair in Bologna, Italy. With industry-leading professional knowledge, rich exhibition experience and massive high-quality resources, cCBF has better served the development strategy of "going out" and "bringing in" of China's publishing industry, promoted China's excellent original content to the world, and brought the best international works to China Readers.

In 2021, cCBF will be held in Shanghai World Expo exhibition hall from November 19 to 21, with an exhibition area of 25000 square meters. It is expected to attract more than 450 domestic and foreign children's book publishers and children's content related enterprises to participate.

In 2020, under the influence of the global new crown pneumonia epidemic, cCBF will still strive to maintain its international and professional nature, and actively explore the book exhibition mode of "offline landing and online synchronization", that is, online and offline integration. Under the premise that the epidemic prevention and control measures were in place and the activities were held safely and orderly, the offline exhibition was successfully held, attracting 386 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions and 99 overseas exhibitors; 83 special guests from 12 countries participated in 57 official activities; the number of offline visitors reached 18963 in three days, including 8 from 17 countries and regions, 305 professional visitors. At the same time, the number of online business matching and online activities has exceeded 520000, which marks the beginning of a new era of interconnection and cooperation in children's book industry.

CCBF will include publishers, copyright agents, authors, illustrators, translators, graphic designers, content developers, printers, publishers, bookstores and other sales channels, digital / multimedia enterprises, mobile application software developers, animation / film / game producers, brand licensors and licensees, reading promoters and institutions, education and training institutions, cultural institutions and book management institutions Staff, professional media, teachers and children's literature lovers gathered together to present a high-quality global children's book publishing culture industry chain event.

CCBF also held a series of activities, including official professional forum and conference, shvip, golden windmill International Young illustrator competition and illustration exhibition, teachers and students' corner of illustration, "children's book plus" theme book special exhibition, Chen Boqi International Children's literature award, city linkage, and a series of Chinese and foreign children's book publishing, creative exchange and reading promotion activities 。

The exhibition area planning is divided into four sections: copyright area, comprehensive area, public area and functional area.

The copyright zone is mainly engaged in copyright trade and cooperation.

The public area mainly carries on the publication sale and the reading promotion and so on.
Functional areas include exhibitor service center, exhibition area for activities and special projects, media area, etc.
