Introduction

DWC is located in the heart of the city's airport. The airport opened its cargo business on June 27, 2010, and then completed its passenger flights in October 2013. The airport has become the world's largest production capacity capable of receiving more than 1.6 million passengers per year. It will also serve as a intermodal logistics hub for 12 million tons of freight. Al Maktoum international is Dubai's future airport in DWC. After the completion of the project, DWC will become the world's largest airport, which can accommodate 160 million people and transport 12 million tons of goods every year. The airport has formed a larger project, also known as the heart of Dubai's world center, with more than 140 square kilometers of six agglomerations, including Dubai Logistics City (DLC), commercial city, residential city, aviation city and golf city.
