EICC, Edinburgh International Convention CenterLocated in the heart of Scotland's historic capital city.EICC is well positioned to host international, national and local conferences, events and associations. A room can hold 2000 delegates. It covers an area of 5000 square meters. 

The Edinburgh International Conference Center is located in the part of the masterplanned exchange area in the West District of Edinburgh city. It was created and designed by Sir Terry Farrell, the architect, in the office of Edinburgh, and is responsible for the management of the project and exchange. The Edinburgh International Convention Center began construction in March 1993 and was completed and opened in 1995. It receives about 200000 delegates a year. The expansion of the pavilion in 2013 cost 85 million euros.

In 1999, the Presbyterian plenary session of Scotland was successfully held in Edinburgh International Convention Center. Scotland's national assembly was also held in the centre, and the 1997 Commonwealth Heads of government (Commonwealth) conference was also held in EICC. To commemorate this moment, the Bank of Clydesdale issued a special commemorative coin, with the characteristic building on the back and the example of the new Clydesdale Bank building on Lothian road in the background of Edinburgh Castle.
