Shouguang International Exhibition Center is located in Shouguang international vegetable hi tech demonstration park, a famous vegetable town in China. It is adjacent to the beautiful Mihe scenic area in the West. The main exhibition area is 150000 square meters. There are 8 indoor exhibition halls, including theme exhibition hall, production capital exhibition hall, agricultural products exhibition hall and planting exhibition hall, covering more than 70000 square meters. There are 1200 standard exhibition stands of 3M * 3m / 3M * 2m.
Shouguang International Convention and Exhibition Center is the permanent venue of China (Shouguang) International Vegetable Science and technology exposition. The agricultural exhibition hall project of Shouguang International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the East Street of Shengcheng, with frame and grid structure and a total construction area of 48000 square meters. The project was started on August 27, 2007 and completed on February 30, 2008.
Shouguang vegetable high tech demonstration park is located in Luocheng street, Shouguang City, Shandong Province, covering an area of 10000 mu. It was built in August 1999. It is a multi-functional vegetable science and technology demonstration base integrating scientific and technological development, popular science education, technical training, experimental demonstration and seedling breeding. In 2001, Shouguang vegetable hi tech demonstration park built Shouguang International Exhibition Center, which became the main venue of the second vegetable Expo. Up to now, the vegetable Expo has been held for nine consecutive sessions in the vegetable high tech demonstration park. The exhibition shows advanced agricultural technologies and varieties, provides a rich and diverse economic exchange platform, and attracts a large number of domestic and foreign guests to participate in the exhibition.
Since the fourth vegetable Expo in 2003, six exhibition halls in the main exhibition area of Shouguang high tech vegetable demonstration park, in addition to displaying advanced cultivation mode and practical technology, have creatively combined vegetables with landscape, science and technology with culture, and made a big step towards agricultural tourism. Since then, a large number of creative vegetable landscapes will be launched in each vegetable Expo. Rural landscapes such as small bridges, flowing water, pavilions, pavilions and green palaces will be created with fresh fruits and vegetables to show the "vegetable Grand View Garden" to all tourists.
In 2005, the number of visitors to the 6th China Food Expo exceeded one million for the first time, reaching 1.06 million; in 2007, the 8th China Food Expo, agricultural tourism developed rapidly, and the number of visitors reached 1.46 million. At the beginning of this year, China Food Expo was incorporated into the famous tourist attractions of Shandong Province; in 2008, the number of visitors to the 9th China Food Expo reached a new high, reaching 1.52 million.
