ASB exhibition Plaza Auckland is a performing arts center / theatre located in Auckland business center, Auckland City, New Zealand. Located in the west edge of the square, guanhuanghou street, the center provides cultural venue space and management facilities in Auckland.
ASB exhibition Plaza in Auckland was first built in 1989, with a total cost of US $128.5 million. It was designed by urban architect Ewen Wainscott in 1974 and was not built until the late 1980s. It won the New Zealand Institute of architecture silver medal. Several characteristics of omission caused by cost increase during construction. Due to the acoustics of the main auditorium in the mid-1990s need expensive modifications.  

ASB exhibition Plaza in Auckland provides a series of foyers, gallery space and multi-functional hall, ASB in a 2256 seat auditorium and a 186 seat small reporting theatre hall, mainly performed by independent small troupes.

The district held on 2000 was a design competition, which was won by the landscape urban design team including Ted Smyth, rod Barnett and dushko bogunovich. In 2011, the upgrade of the Plaza also includes a major revision of the public staircase in front of the center, including a large balcony, which creates a caf é space under the open plaza.
