Introduction

Dubai International Ocean Club (DIMC) was founded in 1988 by Sheikh Ahmed Bin said Al Maktoum in manassea, Dubai, in order to maintain the traditional water sports and promote Dubai. It used to be located in the golden area of the city, surrounded by the club's development over the years, and now in the heart of new Dubai with numerous hotels and restaurants. Said harib, now vice president of the club, has been leading the growth and development of water sports in the region. With its 300 berth yacht terminal, helipad, navigation school, event department, office and venue facilities, DIMC hosts more than 50 different types of events each year, including a complete program of traditional events. Every year, there will be a very successful Dubai International Yacht Show and the largest and most traditional and famous sailing competition - "Al gaffal".
