Beijing Friendship Hotel, located in the hinterland of Zhongguancun High Tech Park, No.1 South Zhongguancun Street, Haidian District, is adjacent to the summer palace, Yuanmingyuan, Xiangshan and other scenic spots and famous universities such as Peking University and Tsinghua University. It is the largest garden hotel in Asia. The hotel has been listed in the history of World Architecture published by the University of Cambridge in England for its magnificent scale and strong national characteristics. Intuitively, the Chinese flavor of friendship hotel is reflected in the garden style of architecture, and a deep understanding of friendship hotel will find that the most Chinese flavor is its history. Beijing Friendship Hotel covers an area of 335000 square meters, with a building area of 320000 square meters. The design idea of the hotel comes from Mr. Liang Sicheng, the leader of the construction industry in China. The construction style of Friendship Hotel highlights the traditional Chinese nation. The whole building community is symmetrically fan-shaped with Friendship Palace as the center. Five buildings with strong national color are green glazed roofs, cornices, ridges and carved beams. There are four relatively independent communities around the hotel, named "Suyuan", "Xiangyuan", "Yiyuan" and "Yayuan" respectively. The four gardens have different styles: "Suyuan" is the reconstruction of Suzhou garden; "Xiangyuan" is the miniature of farmyard in northern China; "Yiyuan" is the park imitating the landscape characteristics of the summer palace; "Yayuan" is the amusement park designed for foreign children living here.
