Sichuan Science and Technology Museum is located in the north of Tianfu Square in the center of Chengdu, which is the landmark of Cultural Expo area in the CBD of Chengdu. It covers an area of 60000 square meters and a building area of 41800 square meters. The permanent exhibition area is 25000 square meters. From the first floor to the fourth floor, there are 20 exhibition areas, including 4D cinema, Dujiangyan, Ertan and Jiuzhai Huanglong, aerospace, robot, virtual world, information society, mathematics, Youth Science Park, crazy science show, robot studio, etc., with more than 600 exhibits. The exhibition integrates science, knowledge, interest, participation and artistry. With the help of modern display means such as sound, light and electricity, it vividly popularizes science and technology knowledge to the public.
Sichuan Science and Technology Museum has a temporary indoor exhibition hall of nearly 3000 square meters, an outdoor activity venue of nearly 5000 square meters, a 220 seat academic lecture hall and a multi-functional academician hall that can accommodate hundreds of people. It provides the public with a variety of science popularization temporary exhibitions and activities, and promotes science popularization knowledge to teenagers and the public.
In addition, Sichuan Science and technology museum also has more than 6000 square meters of double-layer underground parking lot, 600 square meters of Chinese and Western style fast food restaurant and 600 square meters of popular science toy store, providing comprehensive services for the public.  
And under the support of all sectors of society, through the reconstruction of the main building of the original Sichuan exhibition hall. The competent department is Sichuan Science and Technology Association.

Covering an area of 60000 square meters, its main building covers an area of 30000 square meters, with an exhibition area of 20000-30000 square meters, 3 exhibition halls of different specifications, 7000 square meters in front and back of the main building, and more than 1000 exhibitions held in 29 years since its establishment.
