Project location and floor area. Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the west of Hutuo River and Taiping River intersection. The specific location is: South of the South Bank of Hutuo River, north of Taiping Hebei Road, east of the planned north-south Branch Road, with a total land area of 1018 mu. Construction content and scale. Shijiazhuang International Exhibition Center has a total construction area of 160000 square meters, including 100000 square meters of exhibition center and 60000 square meters of conference center. Planned investment and source of funds. Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center construction project is planned to invest 2 billion yuan from the municipal government.  

Construction period and schedule. The initial construction period is two and a half years; the schedule is as follows:
The project was completed by the end of April 2008;
At the end of May 2008, the international bidding for planning and architectural design scheme was completed;
Construction started at the end of September 2008;
Completion acceptance in September 2010;
Trial operation in October 2010.
