Huaihai International Expo Center

Huaihai International Expo Center is an important carrier for the development of exhibition economy in Xuzhou and an important urban functional project for building a trade and logistics center in Huaihai Economic Zone and building a two-way open highland.On September 28, 2019, the commencement ceremony of Huaihai International Expo Center project was held in Yunlong District, Xuzhou City.

Huaihai International Expo Center is located in the north of Xuzhou Olympic Sports Center, east of Hanyuan Avenue, south of Pengzu Avenue and west of Xinyuan Avenue. The project covers a total area of 120.8 hectares, with a total construction area of 674100 square meters and a total investment of about 10 billion yuan. It is planned to build an international convention and exhibition center integrating exhibition, conference, catering, entertainment and cultural tourism.

The design of Huaihai International Expo Center project is unique. Taking the unique geographical location of the ancient city of Xuzhou as the "thoroughfare of five provinces", the concept of eagle flying is integrated into the design. There is "one axis, two wings and three areas", and one axis runs through - connecting the exhibition and Expo Center and Olympic Sports Center, creating an urban living room and shaping an urban vitality portal; The two wings extend -- the two wings echo the culture of the Han Dynasty in Xuzhou; Cooperation among the three zones - build an international convention and exhibition area, a business travel and leisure area and a business media gathering area. The project is implemented in two phases. The planned construction area of phase I is 189000 square meters and the planned construction area of phase II is 485100 square meters. It is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of 2021.

The 8th China Xuzhou Cultural Expo, which will be held from September 28 to October 3, 2021, will be the first exhibition of Huaihai International Expo Center.
