Tibet Convention and Exhibition Center

Tibet Convention and Exhibition Center is the first comprehensive international convention and Exhibition Center in Tibet Autonomous Region. The center is located on the Bank of Lhasa River on Jiangsu Avenue in the eastern suburb of Lhasa and in the center of Dongcheng business district. It is the first comprehensive international convention and Exhibition Center in Tibet Autonomous Region and the main project of Dongcheng core business district of Lhasa. The total construction area is 35880 square meters and the outdoor exhibition area is 67000 square meters, including two exhibition halls 1 outdoor exhibition hall, artificial lake and music fountain.

Hall 1 of the Convention and Exhibition Center of Tibet Autonomous Region is the main function of the Convention and Exhibition Center. In the design, the No. 1 comprehensive exhibition hall with an area of 4080 square meters and the No. 2 comprehensive exhibition hall with an area of 1250 square meters are taken as the core, surrounded by a 7-meter-wide corridor, and four medium-sized conference halls and 14 small conference halls are arranged on the outside in turn. A 1600 square meter entrance hall is built on the north side of the main entrance of hall 1, which has a huge public space and provides a place for multi-functional activities. Hall 2 is the main building of the exhibition center. Two core exhibition halls are arranged side by side. Each exhibition hall is about 4650 square meters. The two exhibition halls can be divided or combined for flexible use. The main entrance of the exhibition hall is on the south side. The entrance is designed with a 1800 square meter front hall shared by the two halls, which can meet the needs of different activities.

The artificial lake in the Convention and Exhibition Center of the Tibet Autonomous Region has 42000 square meters, which is larger than the total area of the two main pavilions, expanding the space of the square. As a unique landmark of Lhasa, Tibet Convention and Exhibition Center provides a modern circulation industry platform for Tibet, provides services such as exhibition, conference, economy and trade, investment attraction and so on, and has become the city card of Lhasa.
