Xianyang museum is located in the middle of Zhongshan street, Xianyang city. It was founded in 1962. It is a national second level museum and the second batch of free open units in China. The museum site is the Confucian temple built in the fourth year of Hongwu, Ming Dynasty (1371). The main building is composed of memorial archway, front hall, main hall and back hall. There are more than 20000 cultural relics in Xianyang Museum, including jade horse of Han Dynasty, head of jade Figurine, painted command figurine and Amulet of King Lu; cuojinyin tripod of Warring States period, Guanzhong of Anyi, longniujuyu of Tang Dynasty; red gold pot of Tang Dynasty, single humped camel of three colors, etc. There are eight exhibition halls, five major contents and more than 3800 cultural relics to show to the audience: the exhibition of Qin Xianyang's historical relics is extensive and profound, the three thousand painted terracotta warriors and horses of the Western Han Dynasty are well-known at home and abroad, the exhibition of religious relics is complete, the display of Steles and stones is popular, and the exhibition of jade and jade collection is a collection of treasures.

There are more than 12000 cultural relics in the collection. The exhibition area is about 1600 square meters. The basic display is "Qin and Han historical relics display". There are five exhibition rooms. The first, second and third exhibition rooms mainly display all kinds of stationery from Qin Xiaogong to Qin Shihuang, bronze weapons such as GE, spear, sword, halberd, etc. used in Qin's unification war, copper imperial edict plate, copper right, copper quantity and material evidences such as Guanzhong, private official Ding and Sandu Zhong with measurement inscriptions in Anyi, as well as all kinds of pottery, silk products, wrong gold and silver lampholders, Kui dragon mirror and teapot Among them, the Wenbei of Xiuwu mansion reflects the fact that the unified character of Qin Dynasty is Xiaozhuan. The architectural materials and other relics unearthed from the site of Xianyang palace in Qin Dynasty, which are exhibited in these three exhibition rooms, reflect the grand scale and prosperity of Xianyang palace in Qin capital. The fourth exhibition room is mainly the cultural relics of the Western Han Dynasty. The exhibits include production tools such as iron share, iron hoe, iron sickle, etc., funerary implements such as pottery granary and various pottery animal models, building materials such as tile, pottery water pipes and hollow bricks, gold, silver and jade wares and Han "half two" Qian Shifan, copper fan and Han "half two" Qian, and "five baht" Qian, etc. Most of these rare treasures were unearthed near the mausoleum of the Western Han Dynasty, which fully reflected the highly developed material civilization of the Western Han Dynasty. The fifth exhibition room is the exhibition room of terracotta warriors and horses in Yangjiawan Han tomb. According to the order of 10 pits, there are nearly 3000 painted terracotta warriors and terracotta horses and horses. It provides important cultural relics for the study of military establishment, pottery sculpture art, burial system and people's clothing in the early Western Han Dynasty.
