The West Lake Art Fair was founded and hosted by the Art Committee of China Federation of literary and art and Zhejiang Federation of literary and art in 1998, and hosted by Zhejiang culture and Art Development Co., Ltd. It has been successfully held for 20 times. Since 2000, the West Lake Art Expo has been listed as a registered project of "China West Lake International Expo in Hangzhou" held by the CPC Hangzhou Municipal Committee and Hangzhou Municipal People's government. In 2011, China Council for the promotion of culture participated in the hosting and became a National Art Expo.

With the concern and support of relevant national, provincial, municipal and district leaders and departments, the West Lake Art Expo has been built for 20 years, and has formed a comprehensive international art exhibition and trading platform with a certain scale, which has been unanimously praised by many galleries, art institutions, artists, entrepreneurs, collectors, art lovers and other people at home and abroad 。 In recent years, the scale of the West Lake Art Fair has reached 20000 square meters and 1000 standard booths. Each session has organized more than 100 galleries and art institutions at home and abroad to participate in the exhibition. Each session has selected hundreds of artists to display and exchange thousands of original works of art created by them. Each session has attracted tens of thousands of people to watch, exchange and interact. At present, the West Lake Art Fair has become one of the most influential and largest art fairs in China.

The 22nd (2019) West Lake Art Expo will be held in Hangzhou Heping International Convention and Exhibition Center from November 15 to 18, 2019 (opening ceremony and VIP special session at 19:00 on November 14). We sincerely look forward to your participation!
