After a five-day exhibition period, the 2016 Shanghai Pudong International Automobile Exhibition successfully closed on October 3 in Shanghai New International Exhibition Center.    

This auto show uses 8 indoor pavilions and outdoor exhibition fields of Shanghai New International Expo Center n1-n5 and e5-e7, with a total scale of 120000 square meters. In fact, 763 vehicles are on display, 300000 people visit, and more than 5000 vehicles are sold in 5-day exhibition period. At the same time, more than 30 media settled in the exhibition and set up a special area to conduct all-round follow-up reports on the exhibition. A total of 1037 journalists from TV, radio, Internet and print media reported on the spot.  

This auto show has basically achieved the full coverage of auto brands. Both the number of exhibitors and the exhibition area have increased significantly. It has become the professional auto show with the largest scale, the highest exhibition specifications, the most media coverage density and the most popular audience participation in East China. Although only three times, the young Shanghai Pudong auto show is full of vigor and upward force. In addition, the outdoor venue of the auto show specially creates the automobile performance experience link. By simulating the real road, visitors can experience the trafficability of climbing, hump, seesaw and other simulated road conditions, and experience the performance characteristics of different models.

The Organizing Committee of this Shanghai Pudong auto show has meticulously planned and organized a series of public welfare, benefit people and interactive experience activities in line with the innovative and pragmatic concept of holding the exhibition.  

Care for the growth and education of young people, and actively participate in social welfare. The Organizing Committee of this Shanghai Pudong auto show and Nissan (China) have worked together to create 2016 dream building class public welfare activities. A special class room has been set up at the auto show site, with more than 300 students and parents participating in 7 batches in 4 days. Students are free to form teams and work together to learn about the manufacturing process of automobiles and learn about safety and environmental protection through hands-on practice. This activity has been well received by students and their parents.  

The Organizing Committee of this auto show will work together with didi to test drive, through the new car experience and activities for the benefit of the people to get through the travel link from the starting place to the auto show site, and send the intimate services and real benefits to the audience. During the 5-day exhibition period, more than 80000 visitors have obtained "free or preferential experience travel", "free auto show tickets", "free new car ride to see auto show" and other benefits through didi test drive platform.  

In order to better realize the linkage between the exhibition in the exhibition hall and the activities outside the exhibition hall, the organizing committee innovatively held the "passion Carnival directional challenge" activity, integrated the shopping plaza resources in Pudong New Area, gathered the 4S stores of major automobile brands and the three linkage of the auto show site, and created a special competitive interactive game for young people in the form of directional competition. In addition, as the latest and most topical entertainment project in Shanghai, "Shanghai Disneyland Resort" participated in the exhibition for the first time, and customized welfare ticket purchasing activities for this auto show undoubtedly became another highlight of this exhibition.
