Guangxi Beibu Gulf coastal area is rich in port coastline resources, with 1595 kilometers of continental coastline, including 228 kilometers of planned port coastline, and the coastal ports have the resources to build deep-water wharfs with an annual handling capacity of more than 300 million tons. Guangxi is close to the 10 ASEAN countries in geography. Since the establishment and construction of the free trade zone, trade and investment between the two sides have been growing rapidly, and economic ties have been deepening. In 2013, Guangxi ASEAN has become the largest trading partner of each other. On January 1, 2010, the free trade zone implemented 90% zero tariff for trade products, and substantially opened the service trade market. After years of construction and development, Guangxi has formed three major port groups: Qinzhou, Fangcheng and Beihai. The port is located in the southwest of China and faces southeast Asia. It is the most convenient access to the sea in the southwest of China, the closest and most favorable connection point for the development of trade between China and ASEAN. A large number of ports have driven the vigorous development of shipbuilding industry.
