The 13th Kaohsiung International Food Exhibition, the fifth Kaohsiung International Hotel, catering and baking equipment and supplies exhibition and the third Kaohsiung International Halal Products Exhibition, sponsored by the International Trade Bureau of the Ministry of economy and implemented by the foreign trade association, will be held in Kaohsiung exhibition hall from October 24 to 27, 2019.

"Kaohsiung International Food Exhibition" is the largest and most professional food negotiation platform in South Taiwan. Combined with "Kaohsiung International Hotel, catering and baking equipment supplies exhibition" and "Kaohsiung International Halal Products Exhibition", in 2018, there were from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, Germany, Belgium, Guatemala, Honduras, mainland and Taiwan, etc 406 national food producers are on display. These three exhibitions are the first choice for Taiwan's food industry to match business opportunities and develop customers. They gather many wonderful and diverse exhibits and attract more than 10000 professional buyers from home and abroad. The top five buyers are mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore in sequence.

A number of domestic famous and heavyweight enterprises came to visit, including food industry group, Carrefour, Weili food, northwest food, Qimei food, old Zhennan food, Taiwan sugar, Kaohsiung air chef, Sanyo Visby, Nanqiao group and master Fang, etc., and hotel operators such as hanlai restaurant, Kaohsiung Guobin Hotel, Kaohsiung Lin Palace, Kaohsiung Fuhua Hotel, Junhong Hotel and hanxuan hotel Hotels, etc.

Last year's exhibitors affirmed the results of the exhibition. They believed that this exhibition will help expand overseas market by contacting customers from many countries, including New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong and Malaysia. According to the manufacturers of the former residents' committee, the hotel plans to add its popular product, Luoshen white fungus dew, to the selection of companion gifts. The factory also shared that some Japanese Importers took a fancy to their products and visited the factory before returning home. The future development is promising. The exhibitors from Honduras are very happy to come to Taiwan and think that the buyers and the public are very enthusiastic and hope to have the opportunity to participate again in the future.

"Kaohsiung International Food Exhibition" will display agricultural products, aquatic products, processed food, foreign products, vegetarian food, coffee, tea and alcohol and other drinks, "Kaohsiung International Hotel, catering and baking equipment and supplies exhibition" will display Hotel, restaurant, baking, laundry and other related equipment and supplies, "Kaohsiung International Halal Products Exhibition" will display halal certified products. During the exhibition, key activities will be held simultaneously, including the international food channel supplier procurement fair, food industry seminar, Hong Kong capital cuisine King competition and product publishing meeting, etc., to fully assist the manufacturers in pursuing the maximum exhibition efficiency.
