Exhibition Introduction

Vietnam Medipharm is an international exhibition held annually in the capital city of Hanoi, hosted by the Vietnamese Ministry of Health and organized by the Vietnam National Advertising Expo Company (VIETFAIR). With strong support from the Vietnamese Ministry of Health, this exhibition has become the largest and most influential professional regular exhibition in the medical and health field in Vietnam, and is also one of the well-known professional medical exhibitions in Southeast Asia. Since the first "China Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment (Vietnam) Exhibition" was held simultaneously in 2007, this exhibition has become the most professional international exhibition in the medical field in Vietnam. It is also the exclusive "China" brand exhibition for Chinese pharmaceutical and medical enterprises to explore the Vietnamese market, attracting many large enterprises in the Chinese pharmaceutical and medical industry to participate every year.

Exhibition Overview

The last exhibition had a total exhibition area of 9000 square meters in three exhibition halls, with 400 booths. The exhibition attracted 450 companies and representatives from 30 countries and regions including Vietnam, China, India, Poland, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Czech Republic, Netherlands, South Korea, the United States, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Russia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Japan, Pakistan, Finland, Singapore, Thailand, Sweden and Taiwan, China. According to the sponsor's post exhibition survey, 85% of the exhibitors said they were very satisfied with the results of the exhibition, and 86% of them said they would continue to participate in the next annual exhibition.

Market Overview

Scale and growth rate: The total volume of Vietnam's pharmaceutical market is expected to exceed 8.5 billion US dollars in 2026 (a year-on-year increase of about 11%), and the medical equipment market is expected to approach 2.2 billion US dollars (a year-on-year increase of about 14%). It is one of the fastest-growing markets in Southeast Asia.

Core driving force: The explosive demand for basic diagnosis and treatment brought about by population aging (with over 14% of the population aged 60 and above) and universal medical insurance coverage (already over 92%); The government is making every effort to promote the "2030 Medical Modernization" plan, upgrading a large number of provincial hospitals to specialized centers. The National Health Master Plan for 2026-2030 will be fully implemented in January 2026, aiming to achieve 40 beds and 15 doctors per 10000 people by 2030.
