INTRODUCTION
The 2026 Middle East (Abu Dhabi) International Petroleum Expo ADIPEC
Exhibition Introduction
Exhibition time: November 2-5, 2026
Hosted by: DMG&ADNOC
Venue: Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC)
Number of exhibitions: 42nd edition
Since its establishment in 1984, the Abu Dhabi International Oil and Gas Exhibition (ADIPEC) has evolved from a regional professional exhibition to one of the most influential oil exhibitions in the world. It is the largest and most influential industry event in the oil and gas field in the Middle East, Africa, and the Asian subcontinent. In 2026, the 42nd ADIPEC will once again gather global industry elites to showcase the core platform for business negotiations and trend exchanges. We sincerely invite your company to participate and jointly explore new opportunities in the global oil and gas market!
In 2025, ADIPEC attracted more than 2250 companies from around the world, 54 national oil and energy companies, over 1800 keynote speakers, over 60 energy ministers, and over 230000 registered viewers. The China Pavilion covers an area of 5300 square meters, with more than 300 Chinese funded enterprises participating, including PetroChina, Sinopec, CNOOC, CPC Technology Development, China Classification Society, Zhenhua Oil, Honghua, Jerry, Jiangnan Shipyard, Great Wall Drilling, Heli Forklift, etc. Since 2008, MIE Group has been serving as the official certification agent for ADIPEC, leading thousands of Chinese companies to participate in exhibitions for over a decade.
The 42nd Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition will be held at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Center from November 2-5, 2026, and is expected to attract over 2300 companies to participate and over 240000 industry representatives to visit!
market opportunity
1. The wave of billions of dollars in investment in the Middle East has spurred massive procurement demand
The current Middle East oil and gas industry is entering an unprecedented period of investment boom, providing historic cooperation opportunities for global suppliers. As the world's largest oil company, Saudi Aramco has launched the "Three Year 85 Project" plan, investing billions of dollars in the next three years to promote new, upgraded, and expanded projects covering multiple fields such as oil and gas production, pipeline construction, and civil infrastructure. These projects will be transformed into hundreds of subcontracting contracts, creating a huge supply chain demand gap. In the pipeline field alone, 21000 kilometers of carbon steel pipelines and 2.2 million tons of structural steel are needed. The demand for power equipment includes 6000 transformers and 24000 sets of switchgear. Basic building materials require 113 million cubic meters of backfill materials and 3.3 million cubic meters of concrete. There is an urgent procurement need for the entire chain of products, from core equipment to supporting consumables.
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has also taken frequent actions, awarding local procurement contracts worth RMB 104.5 billion in the second half of 2025, covering core areas such as strategic services, drilling, logistics, and digital solutions, and planning to achieve a local production procurement target of RMB 175.5 billion by 2030. At the Business Partner Forum held during the ADIPEC exhibition, ADNOC will focus on releasing the 2026-2027 procurement pipeline, allowing small and medium-sized enterprises and technology partners to directly connect with the core business opportunities in the UAE's industrialization process and participate in a project ecosystem worth hundreds of billions of dollars.
2. Energy transformation and technological innovation, opening up a high value-added track
Under the global energy transition wave, the traditional oil and gas industry is accelerating its transformation towards low carbonization, digitization, and high efficiency. ADIPEC 2026 will become the core hub for the landing of new technologies and commercial cooperation. Saudi Aramco, Honeywell, and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology are seeking large-scale application partners for the Direct to Chemicals (COTC) technology, which can significantly enhance the added value of crude oil, reduce carbon footprint, and provide high value-added cooperation space for equipment suppliers and technical service providers.
Digital transformation also unleashes enormous opportunities, with ADNOC and Emerson ABB、 The 5 billion RMB framework agreement signed by companies such as Schneider Electric focuses on the procurement of digital products such as automation control, emergency shutdown systems, fire and gas monitoring systems, and requires local manufacturing in the United Arab Emirates. This has opened the door to the Middle East market for companies with technical strength and localized service capabilities. In addition, the industrial AI computing infrastructure and AI centers jointly built by Saudi Aramco and Nvidia will also generate sustained demand for high-end electronic devices, software solutions, and operation and maintenance services.
3. Global demand continues to grow, highlighting the potential of core markets
Despite the ongoing energy transition, oil and gas will still occupy a central position in the global energy structure in the coming decades. Saudi Aramco CEO Nasser predicts that global daily oil demand will increase by 1.2-1.4 million barrels in 2026, mainly driven by the industrialization process of countries in the global South. The strong market demand provides stable growth expectations for oil and gas industry chain enterprises. As one of the regions with the largest oil and gas production and lowest costs in the world, the Middle East has a particularly urgent need for capacity expansion. Saudi Aramco plans to increase natural gas production by 60% by 2030. The development of large-scale projects requires a large amount of exploration equipment, pipeline facilities, processing equipment and other products and services, and the related market size will continue to expand.
At the same time, energy cooperation in the Middle East is showing a diversified expansion trend, with giants such as Saudi Aramco continuously expanding their downstream business layout in Asia, and the United Arab Emirates attracting international companies to participate in national construction through its Local Value Creation Program (ICV). These strategic layouts provide multi-level opportunities for participating companies from short-term project cooperation to long-term strategic partnerships. As a bridge connecting global suppliers with core buyers in the Middle East, ADIPEC will focus on presenting these market demands, helping companies accurately connect with target customers and seize market opportunities.
