The oil and gas industry is not only an important pillar of Xinjiang's industry, but also plays an irreplaceable role in safeguarding national energy security and serving the construction of the "the Belt and Road". Since the Central Xinjiang Work Symposium, the central government, autonomous regions, and China Petroleum have introduced a series of policies and measures to promote Xinjiang's leapfrog development and long-term stability, providing strong impetus and extremely favorable development environment for Xinjiang's steady development. With the deepening of national aid to Xinjiang and the proposal of the Silk Road Economic Belt strategy, Xinjiang's oil and gas equipment production and new technology research and development have unprecedented development opportunities and vast market space.

From July 16th to 18th, 2026, the Xinjiang International Petroleum and Chemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (cippe Xinjiang Petroleum Exhibition) will be held at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center, with a total exhibition area of 40000 square meters.
