As the host city, Wuxi, on the bank of the Taihu Lake Lake, bears an important mission in the equipment manufacturing industry of the Yangtze River Delta. In the "2024 China Machinery Top 500" list released by the China Machinery Industry Enterprise Management Association in Chengdu, intelligent manufacturing enterprises in Wuxi showed strong strength, with a total of 29 companies standing out and ranking first in the province. This achievement is also among the best in cities across the country. Compared with previous years, the number of listed companies in Wuxi has increased by 7 year-on-year, with a significant growth rate. This undoubtedly injects a "hopeful" momentum into the machinery industry, which is currently in a "tortuous progression". Wuxi, a city full of historical charm, is not only the cradle of China's national industry and commerce, but also the birthplace of many industrial "firsts". As of the end of September 2024, the number of large-scale enterprises in Wuxi's machinery industry has reached 4577, an increase of 274 compared to the end of September last year, with a growth rate of 6.3%. At present, our city has 5 national level advanced manufacturing clusters, and in the field of high-end equipment, 7 national level manufacturing industry single champion demonstration enterprises, 115 national level specialized and new "little giant" enterprises, and 165 provincial first (set) major equipment have emerged.
