On November 30, 2025, the 23rd Guangzhou International Auto Show (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou Auto Show") came to a successful conclusion. The ten day exhibition attracted a total of 855000 visitors. During the auto show, 12300 journalists from over 6000 domestic and foreign media organizations participated in reporting on the grand event of the exhibition.
The theme of this year's Guangzhou Auto Show is "New Technology, New Life". It coincides with the historical intersection of the end of the 14th Five Year Plan and the beginning of the 15th Five Year Plan. At this year's Guangzhou Auto Show, a total of 93 new cars were launched, with a total of 1085 exhibited cars, including 629 new energy vehicles. For the first time, new energy vehicles have exceeded half of the total number of exhibited vehicles, accounting for 58%, reflecting the accelerated penetration of electrification in China's automotive industry. New energy vehicles are gradually becoming a leading force in reshaping the industry landscape, shifting from an "optional" to a "mandatory" option.

2026 is the first year of the "Fifteenth Five Year Plan". The fifth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee has mapped out a grand blueprint for high-quality development. Among them, the production and sales of new energy vehicles exceeded 16 million units, with domestic new car sales accounting for over 50%, becoming the dominant force in China's automobile market. The Chinese automobile industry has made breakthroughs in various aspects during the 14th Five Year Plan period, laying a solid foundation for the further development of the automobile industry in the 15th Five Year Plan.
