The 24th China International Metallurgical Industry Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the "Metallurgical Exhibition"), one of the key series of activities of the 2nd China International Steel Week, hosted by the China Iron and Steel Industry Association and the Metallurgical Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, organized by the Metallurgical Industry International Exchange and Cooperation Center and Hanover Milan Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., supported by the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association, the Laser Processing Professional Committee of the Chinese Optical Society, China Machinery International Cooperation Co., Ltd., Hebei Metallurgical Industry Association, Jiangsu Metallurgical Industry Association, and Henan Refractory Industry Association, will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from September 21-23, 2026. We cordially invite domestic and foreign steel production, equipment manufacturing (including steel production equipment, energy-saving and environmental protection equipment, green energy equipment, heat treatment technology and equipment, etc.), metallurgical design and research institutes, raw and auxiliary materials, design and construction, warehousing and logistics, steel trade, metallurgical universities, asset management and investment and financing institutions, as well as other related enterprises in the steel industry chain and ecosystem, to actively participate in this exhibition.

This metallurgical exhibition will focus on the high-end, intelligent, and green transformation of the steel industry, focusing on the green and low-carbon development of the industrial chain and ecosystem. It will provide a display platform for new steel technologies, processes, equipment, and conceptual models for enterprises in the ecosystem, and provide a platform for communication and cooperation for future industrial development. The Metallurgical Exhibition will create a higher-level open platform for the industry, showcasing the ability, performance, and ambition of the steel industry to support sustainable economic and social development. The specific matters are notified as follows:

1、 Exhibition Introduction

The Metallurgical Exhibition, one of the important series of activities of the 2nd China International Steel Week, was founded in 1987. After more than 30 years of development, it has become one of the world's important metallurgical industry exhibitions. It is the only metallurgical and metal hot processing exhibition hosted by a national industry association in China, and has received positive response and strong support from domestic and foreign steel enterprises, steel users, and suppliers. The previous exhibition was held from August 8th to 10th, 2025 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The exhibition gathered over 300 leading brands from upstream and downstream industries, covering an area of 15000 square meters. At the same time, the 14th China International Steel Conference, the 2nd Steel Structure Construction Industry Chain Exhibition, the 19th China International Refractory Materials and Industrial Ceramics Exhibition, and a series of concurrent activities were held. This year's metallurgical exhibition will be linked with multiple themed exhibitions such as steel structure exhibition, pipe exhibition, refractory exhibition, and heavy machinery exhibition to jointly build an industrial chain platform of over 10000 square meters. It is expected to gather more than a thousand enterprises to participate in the exhibition. The Metallurgical Exhibition aims to build a high-end platform for promoting technological innovation, industrial development, supply and demand docking, and investment cooperation. 3、 Simultaneous activities of metallurgical exhibition

The 15th China International Iron and Steel Conference

The 15th China International Steel Conference, hosted by the China Iron and Steel Industry Association and organized by the Metallurgical Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Metallurgical Industry International Exchange and Cooperation Center, will be held simultaneously with the Metallurgical Exhibition. It is one of the important theme activities of the 2nd China International Steel Week. The China International Steel Conference is a high-level international conference that focuses on discussing and exchanging in-depth, global, and strategic issues related to the development of the global steel industry. It is a high-end platform for China to communicate and cooperate with countries around the world for mutual benefit. The conference is held once a year, and since its establishment in 2000, it has been successfully held for fourteen sessions, receiving high recognition and attention from the domestic and international steel industry.

The 3rd Steel Structure Construction Industry Chain Exhibition

The 3rd Steel Structure Construction Industry Chain Exhibition, hosted by the China Iron and Steel Industry Association and other units, and organized by the Metallurgical Industry International Exchange and Cooperation Center, will be held simultaneously and in the same location as the Metallurgical Exhibition.

3. The 12th China International Pipe and Tube Exhibition

The 12th Tube China 2026, organized by the Metallurgical Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Messe D ü sseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., was founded in 2004 and is held every two years. As a leading professional exhibition for pipe materials in Asia, it provides key support for the high-quality development of the pipe and pipeline industry in various fields.

4. China Steel Structure Construction Industry Chain Hundred Enterprises Forum

The China Steel Structure Construction Industry Chain Hundred Enterprises Forum, hosted by the China Iron and Steel Industry Association and other units, and organized by the Metallurgical Industry International Exchange and Cooperation Center, will be held simultaneously.

5. The 20th China International Refractory Materials and Industrial Ceramics Exhibition

The 20th China International Refractory Materials and Industrial Ceramics Exhibition will be held concurrently with the Metallurgical Exhibition

The porcelain exhibition will also hold a series of events, including the "Green and Low Carbon Development Seminar for New Refractory Materials" and the "22nd New Knowledge Lecture on Refractory Materials", the "11th Aluminum Silicon Refractory Raw Materials Expo", jointly organized by the refractory material industry associations of Henan, Liaoning, Shandong, Shanxi, Zhejiang, and Guizhou provinces, co organized by the Metallurgical Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Henan New Refractory Materials Innovation Center, and hosted by the International Exchange Cooperation Center of the Metallurgical Industry.
