In order to deepen the inheritance and promotion of Chinese tea culture, focus on building Xinyang tea characteristic brands, actively explore domestic and foreign tea markets, prosper the tea industry economy, promote the integrated development of tea tourism, strengthen all-round exchanges and cooperation in the tea field, and make the 2026 Xinyang Tea Industry Expo a national benchmark exhibition for the tea industry, achieving the goal of high standards, marketization, and specialization, this work plan is specially formulated.

Activity format

This tea expo will revolve around the core theme of "tea culture, tea industry, and tea technology", and invite high-quality tea enterprises from both inside and outside the city to participate. It will focus on showcasing tea core products, high-end tea packaging, characteristic tea cultural and creative products, new tea beverage series, and oil tea related products. Through various activities such as exhibition and sales, brand promotion, product promotion, product trading, new product release, information exchange, tea art performance, and enterprise networking, it will comprehensively present the diversified development achievements of the tea industry.

Invite well-known local and provincial tea enterprises in Xinyang to showcase their products, set up brand special exhibition areas and standard booths, and carry out a series of activities such as tea exhibition and sales, new product launches, brand promotion, and production and sales docking.

Through Alipay, Yunshangfu, Tiktok and other channels, special tea coupons are issued, and customers can enjoy exclusive discounts when purchasing products from exhibitors in the exhibition hall of the Tea Expo.

（4） The "Hundred Flowers Cup" Xinyang Maojian themed exhibition and the "Twelve Flower Gods" flash mob event

Jointly with the School of Media at Xinyang Normal University, a themed competition unit is set up around Xinyang tea culture, collecting micro films, short videos and other visual works from university students to tell the story of the tea town and interpret the spirit of tea people from a young perspective. During the event, a flash mob with the theme of "Twelve Flower Gods" will be launched simultaneously, integrating various forms such as Hanfu performance, tea art exhibition, and situational short drama, which will be presented in rotation at the Tea Expo site and Xinyang city landmarks.
