In recent years, Morocco's automobile industry has become one of the engines of industrial development. At present, there are more than 200 enterprises in three centers, namely Tangier (43%), Casablanca (39%) and kennetra (7%). In addition to its superior geographical location, stable political situation and low labor cost, its rapid development has the following reasons.
(1) Morocco has signed free trade agreements with the European Union, Arab countries, the United States and Turkey, and the motorcycle industry can also export duty-free to these countries. Renault and Peugeot Citroen, the French carmakers, see the above advantages and build Morocco into a low-cost car production base for export to the EU and Arab countries. In addition, the establishment of the automobile assembly plant will certainly drive the upstream spare parts enterprises to invest and set up factories in Morocco, thus driving the development of the whole automobile industry chain.
