Exhibition Introduction：

In the past 20 years, laser applications have made significant progress. Nowadays, it has widely penetrated into various fields such as communication, energy, semiconductors, automobiles, shipbuilding, construction, civil engineering, agriculture, as well as biological and medical treatments, and is closely connected to our daily lives. Since 1994, the Japan Institute of Optoelectronics has held this exhibition every year and has continuously innovated and introduced advanced laser technology. Laser is one of the greatest technological inventions of the 20th century, and the gathering of a large number of people related to the laser industry has made the Japan International Optical and Optoelectronic Technology Exhibition one of the largest trade fairs in the field of optics and photonics in Japan. It has also become an international exhibition that must be attended to understand the trends in the photonics industry.

The 33rd Yokohama International Optical and Optoelectronic Technology Exhibition in 2027 will be hosted by the Japan Optical Society (Society of Applied Physics)/Japan Optical Communication Association, and will last for three days. The co organizers are the Japan External Trade Organization and the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan.
