Since its establishment in 1992, the China International Battery Technology Exchange Conference/Exhibition (CIBF) has gone through 35 years of glorious history. It is the first battery industry brand exhibition in China to be protected by trademark registration, and the world's largest, most professional, and influential top-level event for the entire battery and new energy industry chain. It is known as the "barometer and innovation coordinate of the global battery industry development".

For over 30 years, CIBF has witnessed the historic leap of China's battery industry from "following" to "leading". From the first 56 exhibitors and 1350 square meters of exhibition area, it has developed into a 280000 square meter exhibition area, more than 3200 global exhibitors, and over 400000 professional visitors by 2026, covering more than 90 countries and regions around the world. Global leading companies such as CATL, BYD, LG New Energy, Panasonic, and Samsung SDI participate in the exhibition year-round, using CIBF as the annual core technology launch platform and a key pivot for global strategic layout.

CIBF2027 Heavy Upgrade, Embark on a New Journey Again

This exhibition is scheduled to be held from May 12-14, 2027 (tentatively) at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition area will exceed 300000 square meters, with 14 themed exhibition halls in use. It is expected to gather more than 3500 high-quality exhibitors from around the world and attract over 450000 professional visitors from home and abroad for negotiations, reaching a new historical high in scale.

As the global energy transition accelerates and the 15th Five Year Plan deepens, CIBF2027 closely follows the three core trends of "the first year of solid-state battery mass production, the explosion of energy storage scale, and the commercialization of hydrogen energy", presenting a complete industrial ecosystem from "lithium resource development → basic materials → intelligent manufacturing → battery cells/packs → energy storage systems → charging and swapping → recycling and utilization". The exhibition will create a global forefront technology debut highland, a precise docking platform for the entire industry chain, and a cross domain innovation collaborative hub, showcasing next-generation core technology achievements such as sulfide solid-state batteries, sodium ion batteries, long-term energy storage, flow batteries, hydrogen fuel cells, etc., to help enterprises seize the high ground of global new energy industry competition.
