1、 Exhibition introduction
IMTS is a large-scale international professional exhibition founded by AMT in 1927. It is held once every two years at McCormick Place Convention and Exhibition Center in Chicago. Now it has been successfully held for 32 times. After more than 80 years of development, IMTS has become the largest and oldest international professional exhibition in the field of mechanical manufacturing in the United States, and has become one of the world's famous exhibitions. It is a globally recognized ideal platform for displaying and selling advanced manufacturing technology and equipment, and a barometer for the development of the world's mechanical manufacturing industry. It has a strong presence in the field of metal processing and mechanical manufacturing Strong leadership.
The 32nd imts2018 was held at McCormick Place Convention and Exhibition Center in Chicago from September 10 to 15, 2018. This exhibition is a real international event of global manufacturing technology industry, with a net exhibition area of 1424232 square feet (about 130000 square meters). 2563 international famous manufacturing enterprises from all over the world show the most advanced machinery manufacturing technology and equipment. The six-day exhibition attracted 129415 visitors from all over the world, an increase of 6% over the previous 2016.
In 2018, we organized 108 domestic production enterprises to participate in IMTS, with an exhibition area of 1908 square meters (212 stalls) and 180 participants. At the same time, we will organize more than 20 domestic production enterprises, competent units of machinery industry, scientific research institutes of universities and local departments and bureaus of Commerce to visit famous machine tool manufacturing enterprises in the United States, visit their production workshops, and carry out technical exchanges on production technology of CNC machine tools and other related topics. Both exhibitors and visitors indicated that the visit was effective, and most of them made it clear that they would continue to attend the next exhibition.
