About the exhibition

In order to promote the trade of traditional Chinese medicine and increase its popularity, the Boxian County Committee and Government organized the * * session of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Trade Fair on September 9, 1985. In 2006, with the approval of the State Council, the Ministry of Commerce sent a letter to the Anhui Provincial People's Government, agreeing to hold the International (Haozhou) Traditional Chinese Medicine Expo in Anhui Province. The Wuzhou Pharmaceutical Expo has developed into an influential exhibition in the traditional Chinese medicine industry nationwide. It is an important platform for inheriting and promoting the culture of traditional Chinese medicine, attracting investment and talent, and is also a major measure to build the "World Capital of Traditional Chinese Medicine" and create a "bridgehead for traditional Chinese medicine to enter the international market".

The 2026 International (Huzhou) Traditional Chinese Medicine Expo and the 42nd National (Huzhou) Traditional Chinese Medicine Fair are scheduled to be held in Huzhou from September 8th to 11th, 2026.
