As a nationally renowned "Hometown of Chinese Medical Devices", Jinxian County is an important distribution center for medical device production and sales in China. With more than 40 years of deep cultivation in the medical device industry, it has grown from a "grassroots economy" to a "tree root economy", constructing a complete industrial chain covering research and development, production, sales, and services, and forming a mature and complete industrial ecology. With profound industrial accumulation, Jinxian has successively been awarded the National Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading Base and Jiangxi Medical Device Industry Base. Its medical device industry cluster has become the core engine for high-quality regional economic development.

In order to promote the iterative upgrading of the industry towards the mid to high end, Jinxian County has deeply implemented the "6210" action plan for the modernization of the key manufacturing industry chain. Medical devices have been identified as one of the two iconic industrial clusters for key cultivation, and the "Ten Functional Platforms" for research and development, incubation, testing, logistics, finance, etc. have been systematically planned and constructed. A 1.5 billion yuan industrial fund has been established, and a modern medical device industry college has been jointly built with Nanchang University. In collaboration with Zhongguancun, an innovative mechanism for "Beijing R&D and Talent Transformation" has been established to provide full chain support for industrial development in all aspects. The superior industrial ecology attracts numerous high-quality resources to gather. The first China (Jinxian) Medical Device Distributor Conference and Expo in 2025 was successfully held, attracting more than 200 domestic and foreign enterprises to participate. 16 industrial projects were signed on site with a total investment of 3.6 billion yuan, fully demonstrating the strong attraction and influence of Jinxian as a medical device industry cluster.
