The China Electronic Information Expo, guided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, is held annually in Shenzhen in April. It has developed into the first and world-class electronic information industry event in Asia. The China (Western) Electronic Information Expo is based in the Chengdu Chongqing region with Chengdu as its core, committed to exploring the vast application market in the western region and enhancing the domestic and international influence of the industry. It began with the China (Western) Electronic Exhibition held in Chengdu and Xi'an in 2007, settled in Chengdu in 2013, and officially renamed as the China (Western) Electronic Information Expo in 2020.
