The exhibition introduces the China International Labor Protection Products Fair, abbreviated as "CIOSH" in Chinese and "CIOSH" in English. Its predecessor was the National Labor Protection Industry Supply Fair sponsored by the Textile Bureau of the former Ministry of Commerce. Since the 1990s, it has been hosted by the China Textile Industry Association. Since its establishment and development in 1966, more than 100 sessions of the Labor Protection Association have been successfully held, and the exhibited products include safety protection equipment from head to toe.

At present, there are over 1600 participating companies in a single exhibition, with a display area of over 80000 square meters and a professional audience of over 40000 people.

With the rapid development of society, the Labor Protection Association has comprehensively showcased new products, processes, and technologies in the labor protection industry through various modes such as online and offline, and grasped the future development trends of the labor protection industry. In order to enable Chinese labor protection enterprises to exert greater energy on the international stage, in March 2020, the China Textile and Apparel Council and Dusseldorf Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. Both sides relied on their respective advantages to jointly upgrade and build the Spring Fair of China International Labor Protection Products Trade Fair. By connecting with global industry resources, the Labor Protection Committee continuously expands international perspectives for labor protection equipment manufacturers, opens up efficient green channels for workers to connect with high-quality PPE resources, and builds a cutting-edge watchtower for the PPE industry.
