The Beijing Contemporary Art Expo was founded in 2018, dedicated to exploring and promoting the value of contemporary art in China and around the world. As a contemporary art expo that represents China and is inclusive of the world, the Beijing Contemporary Art Expo takes curation, locality, and publicness as its core. With 10 units closely related to various levels of the art ecology, it sorts out the value of contemporary art subjectivity and systematicity, creates a top-level platform for art trading, exhibition, and exchange, and forms a city art season that links all parties' partners.

The 2026 Beijing Contemporary Art Expo will be held from May 21 to 24 in Hall 11 of the National Agricultural Exhibition Center, with the theme of "Land Trace". It aims to re-examine cultural differences and uneven experiences between continents from the perspectives of geo culture and historical geography, and attempt to redraw the detailed map of contemporary art in the context of the times.
