Exhibition Introduction

The EXPONOR CHILE mining exhibition in northern Chile was founded in 1990 and is one of the most professional mining exhibitions in South America. It is held every two years in Antofagasta, the largest city in northern Chile. During the exhibition, various activities such as seminars, business talks, and delegation visits are held. This exhibition will focus on four major areas: green mining, hydrogen energy applications, seawater desalination, and digital mining, promoting sustainable development of the mining industry.

Market Background

Antofagasta is known as the "Northern Pearl" of Chile and is the largest city and Pacific coast port in northern Chile, second only to Santiago. It is also a transit port for goods from countries such as Bolivia, Argentina, and Paraguay. Antofagasta is the capital of Antofagasta District and Antofagasta Province. It was founded in 1870 and flourished due to the mining of saltpeter, copper, and silver mines.
