2026WRC World Robot Conference and Expo

The World Robot Conference is an international event in the field of robotics, approved by the State Council and jointly hosted by the China Electronics Society and the World Robot Cooperation Organization. Comrades Li Qiang, Cai Qi, Liu He, Yin Li, Wan Gang, Liu Yandong, Ma Kai and others attended the conference.

The World Robot Conference has been successfully held for ten sessions since 2015, integrating forums, expos, competitions, and a series of supporting activities. It is the largest, highest specification, and most diverse international robotics event in China, focusing on intelligent robots, expanding robot application scenarios, breakthroughs in key technologies, promoting technological innovation and application landing, and facilitating exchanges and cooperation in the global robotics industry.

The 2026WRC World Robot Conference will be held in Beijing in August. Over the past decade, the World Robot Conference has been continuously dedicated to promoting the integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation, improving the quality and efficiency of robot applications, and expanding international exchanges and cooperation. It has not only become a global "innovation leading event", "industry promotion event", "application promotion event", and "international cooperation event" in the field of robotics, but also a promoter, participant, and witness of robots empowering thousands of industries and entering thousands of households and landscapes.

Review of the previous session of the conference:

The 2025 World Robot Conference, with the theme of "Making Robots Smarter and Bodies Smarter", is jointly hosted by the China Electronics Society and the World Robot Cooperation Organization, supported by 28 international organizations. At the same time, the World Robot Expo and World Robot Competition will be held. The main forum will feature three major sections: "Innovative Applications in Industrial Development" and "Technological Integration". Over 400 top scientists, representatives of international organizations, academicians, and entrepreneurs from both domestic and international sources will focus on cutting-edge technology trends, industry trends, application practices, and innovative achievements in the field of robotics. Through keynote speeches, high-end dialogues, and physical displays, they will engage in diverse forms of communication and sharing.

The expo features three exhibition halls: Innovation Hall, Application Hall, and Technology Hall, bringing together over 200 outstanding domestic and foreign robotics companies. 50 humanoid robot complete machine enterprises bring the latest exhibits and industry solutions, with the highest number of humanoid robot complete machine enterprises participating in similar exhibitions.

The competition consists of three major events: the Inclusive Robot Challenge, BCI Brain Controlled Robot Competition, and Youth Robot Design Competition. More than 10000 elite racers from over 6000 teams from more than 10 countries around the world will compete on site. In addition, the conference will hold 31 events focusing on innovative robot application scenarios, international cooperation, technological breakthroughs, standard testing, investment and financing, academic seminars, and industrial talent cultivation.
