The Intertextile series fabric exhibition was founded in 1995. At the beginning of its establishment in 1995, the China International Textile Fabric and Accessories Expo had a scale of 4000 square meters and has been expanding year by year since then. It was initially held in Shanghai every October, and later expanded to be held in Shanghai in March and October, and in Shenzhen in July each year. The exhibition in the autumn of March has reached a scale of 182000 square meters by 2016, with over 4600 exhibitors from 29 countries and regions. These increasing numbers indicate a development and also signify a deep recognition of the exhibition by domestic and foreign merchants. As the world's largest professional fabrics and accessories exhibition, Intertextile Fabric Exhibition has witnessed the rapid development of China's textile and clothing industry for over 20 years.

The China International Textile Fabric and Accessories Expo is currently the largest clothing fabric and accessories exhibition in the world.
