The 23rd China (Beijing) International Pipeline Network Exhibition for Urban Lifeline Safety Engineering Construction (referred to as the China Urban Expo) will be held from November 6th to 9th, 2025Beijing Shougang International Convention and Exhibition CenterGrandly held.

The China International Urban Construction Expo (referred to as the City Expo) is an international comprehensive urban construction expo approved by the Ministry of Commerce and supported by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development. It enjoys a high reputation in the field of urban construction in China. The purpose of this year's Urban Expo is to implement the spirit of the Central Urban Work Conference, the "Several Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Further Strengthening Urban Planning and Management Work", and the "13th Five Year Plan for National Urban Infrastructure Planning and Construction", promote construction, showcase the achievements of urban planning and construction, and guide the scientific development of urban construction. During the China City Expo, a series of high-end forums and related exhibitions, exchange and promotion activities will be held.

Underground pipelines, as the "lifeline" of cities, are key infrastructure for the safe and stable operation of cities. In May 2025, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development stated that China will comprehensively launch the urban infrastructure lifeline safety project. According to statistics, the national pipeline network covers about 1.06 million kilometers of urban water supply, about 870000 kilometers of drainage, about 930000 kilometers of gas, about 460000 kilometers of heating, and about 170000 kilometers of long-distance oil and gas pipelines. The total length may exceed 3.5 million kilometers, which is five times the total length of pipelines in 2000 and is increasing at an annual growth rate of about 13.17%. However, the current level of pipeline construction in China is relatively lagging behind, with problems such as insufficient pipeline updates and repairs, substandard construction materials, slow promotion of new technologies, and lack of coordination in multi head management. It is urgent to fully promote the high-quality renovation and construction of the national pipeline network.

IIIExhibition Scope

41. Comprehensive pipe gallery construction and operation and maintenance technology, instruments and equipment:Pipe gallery inspection robot, pipe gallery personnel positioning, gas detection technology and equipment; Pipe gallery operation and maintenance system, pipeline warning and forecasting, leakage detection, integrated communication, etc.

4. Pipeline maintenance and repair technology and products, non excavation pipeline repair materials and equipment:Non excavation flipping lining repair technology equipment, UV curing repair technology equipment, pipeline dredging equipment, pipeline lining materials, etc.

5. Non excavation construction equipment for municipal pipeline network:Micro shield tunneling equipment, non excavation equipment, sludge treatment equipment, etc.: small shield tunneling machines, horizontal directional drilling machines, directional instruments and their ancillary equipment; Pipe jacking machine and its ancillary equipment, etc.
