About the exhibition

The 16th Shanghai International Steel Pipe Industry Exhibition, jointly organized by the Steel Pipe Branch of the China Steel Structure Association and the Shanghai Steel Pipe Industry Association, will be held from December 2-4, 2025 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. This exhibition covers an area of 40000 square meters, with 1000 participating companies (including the Metal World Expo held at the same time), and is expected to attract over 30000 professional visitors.

At the exhibition site, multiple concurrent events will be held, including the 5th Steel Pipe Industry Chain Development and Application Conference, 2025 Steel Pipe Industry Chain Supply and Demand Procurement and Distribution Exchange Conference, 2025 Steel Pipe+Intelligence Special Forum, and Steel Pipe Entrepreneur Roundtable Forum. Focusing on industry trends from multiple perspectives, we will explore and share hot topics such as global economy, steel pipe and related industry chain development, technological innovation, green and low-carbon, intelligent manufacturing, etc., to explore future new trends.

Previous Review

The previous exhibition was successfully held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from December 18th to 20th, 2024. This exhibition attracted 859 companies to participate (including the MTM Metal World Expo during the same period), with a total of 27695 visitors from 48 countries and regions, including 24432 domestic visitors and 3263 overseas visitors. It is worth mentioning that this year's overseas audience continues to exceed historical records, with a year-on-year increase of 30.65%.

The exhibition is open to global audiences, showcasing the innovative achievements and features of China's steel and metallurgical industry. It has successfully created an immersive practical scene that integrates industry exchange, brand promotion, product display, and commercial circulation, continuously leading the innovation trend in the industry.

The grand occasion of the previous event

2024 Steel Pipe Industry Chain Supply and Demand Procurement and Distribution Exchange Conference

Jointly organized by Shanghai Steel Pipe Industry Association, Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce Steel Trade Chamber, Shanghai Shenshi Exhibition and other units. Nearly 200 domestic industry leaders including Sinopec, PetroChina, China Railway Materials, Sany Heavy Industry, MCC Steel Structure, Hangxiao Steel Structure, Honglu Steel Structure, Shilude, and Haitai Steel Pipe attended the meeting, as well as international buyers from South Korea, Estonia, Iran, Russia, and other countries. The procurement scope covers multiple fields such as steel plates, steel pipes, hot coils, profiles, fasteners, coatings, pumps and valves. The conference included two stages: the release of purchaser information and the free negotiation between the purchasing parties. This not only provided both the supply and demand sides with product market information and understanding of changes and trends in market demand, but also provided a useful bridge for enterprises to optimize future procurement strategies, deepen cooperation, and share resources.

The 4th Steel Pipe Industry Chain Development and Application Conference

With the theme of "moving towards the new and pursuing excellence with quality", nearly 200 guests from relevant fields such as national business associations, steel enterprises, and industry enterprises attended the conference in person, and tens of thousands of people participated in the conference through online live streaming, discussing the changing situation of the steel market together.

The conference attracted more than 70 representatives of material and equipment member units and industry experts. Vice President Lin Guanghui released a three-year summary report, emphasizing the importance of technological innovation for the high-quality development of the steel pipe industry. During the meeting, multiple guests gave in-depth presentations on topics such as seamless steel pipe equipment technology transformation, improvement of steel pipe surface quality, digital intelligent manufacturing, and industrial applications of laser arc composite welding. In addition, performance testing and inspection techniques for pressure pipeline components were also explored, aiming to improve the safety and efficiency of the steel pipe industry. At the end of the meeting, experts discussed green energy conservation and trade data empowerment, aiming to reduce costs and increase efficiency for enterprises and promote foreign trade growth.
