As one of the important theme events of World Cities Day, the Shanghai International City and Architecture Expo ("City Expo") is hosted by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme and the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban Rural Development, organized by the Shanghai Green Building Association, and co organized by the Shanghai World Cities Day Affairs Coordination Center. Currently positioned as a theme exhibition for the construction and management of comprehensive large-scale international cities.
