Exhibition Overview

Since 1978, the NEFTEGAZ International Oil and Gas Exhibition, hosted by Expocenter, has always been the most important exhibition project in the oil and gas industry. Over the years, the exhibition has received strong support from the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, as well as official sponsorship from the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry!

As one of the top ten oil and gas exhibitions in the world, NEFTEGAZ provides a unique opportunity and platform for manufacturers and suppliers from different countries to showcase their latest oil and gas and refining equipment and technologies to industry experts, establish and expand business connections, and discuss industry hot topics. Since 2016, the exhibition has been held annually in conjunction with the National Oil and Gas Forum.

Market Analysis

Russia is rich in oil and gas resources, with total reserves of 35.35 billion tons and 98.74 trillion cubic meters of oil and natural gas respectively, accounting for 12.5% of the world's total proven oil and gas reserves. It is the world's second largest crude oil producer, with an annual output of about 550 million tons of crude oil, second only to Saudi Arabia. The annual production of natural gas reaches 612 billion cubic meters, accounting for 21.3% of the global total production.

The oil and gas industry is an important pillar industry in Russia and a significant force in promoting the revival of the Russian national economy. It plays an extremely important role in the Russian national economy. According to data from the Russian Ministry of Finance, in the first half of 2024, Russia's energy sales revenue increased by nearly 70% compared to the same period in 2023, and about 90% of Russia's GDP growth was driven by energy exports. Igor Yushkov, an expert at the Russian National Energy Security Foundation, said, "The recovery of Russian energy exports is also related to the restructuring of the international market supply pattern.
