Exhibition Introduction: The Korea Metal Week Exhibition is an important industrial event for the metal processing industry and products in Northeast Asia. In 2025, the exhibition attracted 235 world-renowned manufacturers from 11 countries and regions including South Korea, China, Germany, the United States, Switzerland, Italy, Canada, India, and Taiwan, with an exhibition area of 1066a square meters and more than 30000 professional buyers attending. 70 Chinese companies participated in the exhibition, mainly exhibiting non-ferrous metal products (titanium, nickel, aluminum, manganese products); a fastening; Pipe fittings, pipelines, wires, aluminum materials, metal stamping parts, mechanical components, etc.

Introduction to the Korean market: South Korea is the 4th largest economy in Asia and the 13th largest economy in the world, with a GDP of approximately 1.67 trillion US dollars. It is also the 9th largest exporter and 10th largest importer in the world, with a vast market. In addition, South Korea is also the world's fourth largest producer of molds, fifth largest producer of automation products, and seventh largest producer of machine tools. In the past decade, the machinery industry has played a role as a booster for the rapid development of the South Korean economy. The rapid development of the machinery and electronics industry has enabled South Korea to take a leading position in multiple industries worldwide: South Korea's shipbuilding industry ranks second in the world, steel production ranks eighth in the world, and automobile production ranks ninth in the world. Not only that, South Korea has also given birth to a large number of world-renowned conglomerates and multinational corporations, such as Samsung, Hyundai, Daewoo LG、 Doosan, Pohang Steel, Hankook Tire, and so on.

Introduction to China South Korea Trade Situation: South Korea is China's fourth largest trading partner. China is South Korea's largest trading partner, export market, and source of imports. In 2024, the total trade volume between China and South Korea reached 310.7 billion US dollars. Among them, China exported 149 billion US dollars to South Korea and imported 161.7 billion US dollars from South Korea.

Introduction to the China South Korea Free Trade Area and RCEP: The China South Korea Free Trade Area was officially launched in 2015. It is the most extensive free trade area in China's foreign negotiations to date, involving the largest trade volume of different countries. According to the negotiation results, in terms of openness, the liberalization ratio of goods trade between the two sides exceeds "90% of tax items and 85% of trade volume". The agreement covers 17 areas including trade in goods, trade in services, investment, and rules, including "21st century economic and trade issues" such as e-commerce, competition policy, government procurement, and the environment. The negotiations on the China Korea Free Trade Zone have achieved the goal of "overall balance of interests, comprehensiveness, and high level". With the signing of the China Korea FTA, South Korea's demand for Chinese mechanical products will further expand. It is also necessary for Chinese companies to enter the Korean market, increase brand awareness, explore excellent sales networks, actively promote products, and lead the market. After the RCEP comes into effect for South Korea, the economic and trade relations between the two countries will become closer, and the final zero tariff products of the two countries will reach 86%. 50.4% of the product tariffs were immediately reduced to zero upon the agreement's entry into force, including some textile raw materials and products, some chemical raw materials, organic chemicals, pharmaceuticals, steel, and some aircraft.
