The Education&Career Expo of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council is a large-scale exhibition held annually at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, aimed at providing a platform for students, graduates, and job seekers to learn about the latest career paths and opportunities. The 2026 Expo is scheduled to be held from January 22nd to 25th, bringing together over 720 exhibitors from different fields, including local and overseas educational institutions, government departments, professional associations, and private enterprises. These institutions will showcase a variety of course options, training programs, and career development paths to help visitors plan their future careers.

During the exhibition, participants can not only obtain detailed educational information, but also gain in-depth understanding of the needs and development trends of specific industries through a series of themed lectures, workshops, and personal consulting services. This expo has specially set up education days in multiple countries or regions, such as mainland China, the United States, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, inviting representatives from various regions to introduce their local education systems and living conditions, so that students who are interested in studying abroad can receive first-hand information and support. In addition, there are multiple themed career days covering various fields such as literature and art, banking and finance, government and public institutions, to attract more young talents to join different industries.

In order to promote communication in the job market, the expo also set up an on-site recruitment session, where multiple companies and public departments will accept job applications on-site and conduct instant interviews, with an expected provision of nearly 2000 job vacancies. At the same time, the Labour Department and other organizations will also provide information on employment services and working holiday plans. In addition, a group of industry experts and successful individuals will come to share their workplace experiences and provide valuable guidance and advice for young people. Through this series of activities, the Expo not only provides job seekers with abundant employment resources, but also builds a bridge for employers to find suitable talents.

Local education: including local universities, tertiary institutions and other educational institutions in Hong Kong, showcasing their curriculum, teaching features, admission requirements and other related information, such as Hong Kong Shue Yan University, Hang Seng University, etc.

Overseas and Mainland China Education: Bringing together multiple consulates and officially recognized institutions in Hong Kong, overseas universities, overseas and mainland education centers, and educational institutions, we provide information on education in Europe, America, Asia, Mainland China, and other countries and regions, including application procedures, admission requirements, and campus life in popular study abroad destinations.

Lifelong learning: Introducing diverse self enhancement and on-the-job training courses, covering KOL training, technology education, lifestyle taste, language and other areas, to help the public improve their abilities and qualities.

Youth Square: gathers multiple non-profit organizations to provide young people with career planning and continuing education information, as well as various job opportunities such as summer jobs, internships, and full-time jobs.

Occupation: Multiple professional associations, government departments, public and private institutions, etc. were present to introduce employment opportunities. For example, the Hong Kong Food and Beverage Industry Association, headhunting companies recruiting for hotels and restaurants, multiple banks and insurance companies, etc. actively recruited talents to welcome the resumption.

Recruitment Square: There are multiple job search platforms and public and private institutions accepting job seekers for application and on-site interviews, providing employment guidance and opportunities for school graduates, graduates, and job seekers.
