Zhangshu City is located in central Jiangxi, spanning both sides of the middle reaches of the Gan River. It has a history of 1800 years of traditional Chinese medicine and has long enjoyed the reputation of "medicine cannot reach the camphor tree, medicine cannot be effective without the camphor tree". It is known as the "Capital of Chinese Medicine" throughout the country. In recent years, Zhangshu has leveraged its own advantages, inherited the torch of Qi and Huang, vigorously promoted the revitalization project of the "Chinese Medicine Capital", and further polished the golden signboard of the "Chinese Medicine Capital". The Zhangshu Pharmaceutical Industry Cluster is a five-star industrial cluster in Jiangxi Province, awarded the four-star national demonstration base for new industrialization by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and listed as one of the top 100 county-level economic industrial clusters in China.

The 56th National Medicinal Materials and Drugs Trade Fair of Zhangshu promotes the professional exhibition of this conference in accordance with specialization and marketization, striving for practical results and ensuring that the participating enterprises of this conference achieve practical results.

The Zhangshu National Medicinal Materials and Drugs Fair is one of the three national drug fairs approved by the State Council in 1958. It has been successfully held for 55 sessions and is the oldest and most influential traditional Chinese medicine industry event in China. It has become an important platform for promoting the image of traditional Chinese medicine enterprises, showcasing products, and promoting cooperation and exchange.
