Background of the event

The China International Textile Fabric, Home Textile and Accessories Expo (intertextTILE) was founded in 1995. The concept and market positioning of the expo are based on two aspects: firstly, the high demand for new and high-end fabrics in the development of China's clothing industry, and the requirement for further improvement and upgrading of the level of the clothing fabric and accessories industry; The second is the booming market of Chinese home textiles, especially decorative textiles, and the broad development prospects of the industry.

Since its establishment, the Zhongji Textile Fabric and Accessories (Autumn/Winter) Expo has expanded its exhibition area from 4000 square meters in the first edition in 1995 to 175020 square meters in the 19th edition in 2013. The number of exhibitors has also increased from over 100 in 12 countries and regions in the first edition to over 3750 in 35 countries and regions in 2013. These increasing numbers indicate a development and also signify a deep recognition of the exhibition by domestic and foreign merchants. As the world's largest professional fabric exhibition, Intertextile Fabric Exhibition has witnessed the rapid development of China's textile and clothing industry over the past 20 years.

At present, major domestic textile fabric and accessory manufacturers regard the annual China International Textile Fabric and Accessory (Autumn/Winter) Expo as an important platform for their business activities and product releases. At the same time, overseas clothing and accessory manufacturers also regard intertextile fabric exhibitions as dynamic and promising textile exhibitions. Exhibitors from countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, and Italy participate in each exhibition in the form of exhibition groups, actively expanding the global market through the exhibition platform.
