2、 Activity Introduction

At a critical stage of deepening the national strategy of "building a strong transportation country" and the "14th Five Year Plan", the joint meeting of the nine provincial (municipal) port (shipping) associations will be held grandly in Shanghai in December 2025. This meeting is a practical action to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and promote the high-quality development of the port industry. It is also a landmark platform for deepening regional cooperation and jointly seeking the construction of a world-class port cluster.

Shanghai, as the forefront window of China's reform and opening up and the core hub of the international shipping center, has always shouldered the mission of leading the innovative development of the port industry. The benchmark projects such as Yangshan Deepwater Port Phase IV Automated Terminal demonstrate "Chinese efficiency" and "Chinese standards" through excellent practices of intelligence, greenness, and internationalization, providing demonstration samples for global port transformation and upgrading. Based on the national strategy of integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta, Shanghai is accelerating the construction of an open pattern of land sea coordination and internal and external linkage with a higher position and broader vision, injecting strong momentum into the coordinated development of ports in nine provinces and cities.

Since its establishment, the Joint Conference of Nine Provinces (Cities) Port (Shipping) Associations has always been closely aligned with national strategic needs, focusing on core issues such as smart ports, green low-carbon, and digital transformation, and building an efficient dialogue platform for government enterprise research. Successive conferences have yielded fruitful results, such as focusing on "digital ports" to serve the "the Belt and Road" construction in 2019, and exploring wisdom in 2020

Huigang and the innovation of the collection and distribution system will sign a nine province cooperation framework agreement in 2024 to deepen regional resource sharing and industrial linkage. These practices provide theoretical support and practical paths for the high-quality development of the industry.

The theme of this conference is "Collaborative Innovation, Green Leadership, and Building a New Pattern of High Quality Port Development Together", aiming to gather the wisdom of the port industry in nine provinces and cities, focusing on three core tasks: first, to strengthen policy coordination, implement the requirements of the "Outline for Building a Strong Transportation Country" on the construction of smart and green ports, and explore technological innovation and institutional breakthroughs under the "dual carbon" goal; Secondly, we will deepen regional cooperation, rely on the radiation effect of the Shanghai International Shipping Center, and promote the interconnection of infrastructure, mutual recognition of standards, and data exchange between the Yangtze River Delta and coastal economic belt port clusters; The third is to stimulate innovation momentum, promote advanced experiences such as automated terminals, new energy ships, and low-carbon logistics, cultivate new quality productivity, and enhance the resilience of the industrial chain.

8、 Precautions

1. Participating units must fill out the "Registration Form" in detail, stamp it with official seal, scan and send it to the organizing committee of the conference;

3.
