It has developed special economic models with Islamic characteristics, especially in the emerging middle class countries of the East, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore, with a total population of more than 240 million Muslims and a demographic dividend The huge business opportunities brought about by it have prompted Taiwan and other Muslim countries in Northeast Asia and Africa to actively develop the halal industry.

With the support of the International Trade Bureau of the Ministry of economy, the foreign trade association established the Taiwan halal center in April 2017, which is specially responsible for promoting the Muslim industry and building a Muslim friendly environment, inviting Muslim buyers from all over the world to come to Taiwan for purchasing, rapidly accumulating the energy of the Muslim industry, and effectively improving the global Muslim's trust and understanding of the Taiwan Muslim industry.

"Halal Taiwan" will be on display from June 17 to 20, 2020, in the same period as food exhibition, packaging industry exhibition, food processing machinery exhibition, biotechnology / pharmaceutical equipment exhibition and Hotel & catering equipment and supplies exhibition. Halal Taiwan has become an important platform for domestic and foreign companies to promote Halal Products and enter Taiwan and Muslim market.
