As one of the five major pastoral areas in China, Xinjiang relies on its unique natural conditions to develop modern animal husbandry according to local conditions. The Party committee and government of the autonomous region are deeply implementing the revitalization action of animal husbandry, building a high-quality livestock product industry cluster, establishing a planning system, policy guarantee system, and technical support system, taking multiple measures to promote the high-quality development of animal husbandry, and creating an important national livestock product production base. In the first half of this year, the meat production in the whole region was 998000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%, and the output value of animal husbandry reached 54.537 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.5%. The 2025 Xinjiang Meat Industry Exhibition will be held at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center.
