ØExhibition Overview

In 2020, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued guidance to promote the western development and form a new pattern of great protection, great opening up, and high-quality development. At the same time, the superposition of national level heavyweight plans such as the Chengdu Chongqing Economic Circle and the Western Land Sea New Corridor has presented a broader development prospect for western China. The demand for infrastructure construction will significantly increase, and most environmental enterprises have begun to make advanced layouts for the needs of ecological environment governance in western China.

Thanks to the traction effect of the new round of western development on the western environmental protection market, the Asia flagship environmental protection exhibition "China Environmental Expo" settled in Chengdu in 2019, and its influence in the western region has repeatedly reached new highs since its debut. The 3rd China Environmental Expo Chengdu Exhibition successfully concluded in July 2021 in Chengdu, bringing together 401 environmental protection enterprises from 11 countries. The exhibition covers an area of 30000 square meters and has attracted more than 30000 professional visitors for exchange. It has become a professional flagship environmental exhibition in the western region.

The 4th China Environmental Expo Chengdu Exhibition will continue to expand its brand and resource advantages, focusing on showcasing high-quality environmental pollution solutions in the fields of water, solid waste, atmosphere, and soil at home and abroad, accelerating the pace of environmental protection enterprises moving westward, and promoting the vitality and innovation of the western environmental protection industry. At the same time as the exhibition, the "China Ecological Environment Industry Summit Forum" and more than ten sub forums will still be held, with a "professional exhibition+industry summit" linkage model, allowing participating enterprises to have a deep understanding of the technological needs, business models, and corresponding development policies of the western market while exhibiting at the exhibition.

The 3rd China Environmental Expo Chengdu Exhibition successfully concluded on July 10th at the Western China International Expo City. The exhibition area has expanded by 27% compared to 2020, achieving breakthrough progress and presenting a display scale of 30000 square meters, firmly ranking first among similar exhibitions in the western region. 401 well-known enterprises from 11 countries and regions participated in the exhibition, with a 26% increase compared to 2020. The exhibition comprehensively showcased innovative solutions for ecological environment pollution reduction and carbon reduction collaborative governance under the vision of carbon neutrality. The dual growth of exhibition data once again consolidated the leading position of Chengdu Environmental Expo as the flagship environmental protection exhibition in the western region.

The three-day exhibition attracted over 30000 professional visitors from 33 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country to visit and learn. According to rough preliminary statistics, 89% of professional audiences come from 12 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions in the western region. Chengdu, Chongqing, and Mianyang are among the top three cities in terms of audience sources, which is basically consistent with the distribution of industrial clusters in the western region. From a decision-making perspective, over 35% of the audience are procurement managers, general managers, and procurement decision-makers at or above the level of water companies, environmental monitoring stations, engineering companies, and key polluting enterprises. Twelve industry summits were held simultaneously with the exhibition, providing a comprehensive interpretation of how environmental enterprises can integrate into the trend of carbon neutrality and providing a free learning platform for people at all levels of the industry.

The "2021 China Ecological Environment Industry Summit Forum" held at the same time as the previous exhibition focused on the upgrading and transformation of industries under the background of carbon neutrality.
