With the rapid development of the Chinese economy, the scale of the Chinese catering market continues to grow. The sudden COVID-19 in 2020 has caused heavy damage to the catering industry, but the catering industry has quickly stabilized and recovered as a result of the concerted efforts of catering people to overcome the difficulties, resume work and production, and make persistent efforts. After the baptism of the epidemic, catering enterprises have become increasingly strong in their ability to adapt, and the pace of the catering industry towards digitization, chainization, and branding has become more stable. The development momentum of China's catering industry continues to be strong, and the development prospects are more promising.

Strive for a hundred years and embark on a new journey. In order to deeply implement the spirit of the 14th Five Year Plan and the 2035 Vision Goal Outline, accelerate the construction of a new pattern of domestic economic circulation and domestic and international dual circulation development, further unleash the potential of catering consumption, and promote the prosperous development of upstream and downstream industries in the catering industry. The 13th Beijing International Catering Supply Chain Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the "Beijing Food Expo"), jointly organized by the China Federation of Commerce, China Hotel Association, and Beijing Cuisine Association, is scheduled to be held from March 15 to 17, 2024 at the Chaoyang Hall of the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing.

After years of accumulation and development, the Beijing Food Expo has become a large-scale and influential exhibition and trading event in the catering industry in the northern region. The planned total area of this year's Food Expo is 60000 square meters, and it is expected to attract 1300 domestic and foreign brands to participate, with 70000 professional visitors attending for procurement and exchange. At the same time as the exhibition, a series of exciting summit forums and competition activities will be held, inviting relevant regulatory departments, industry associations, experts and scholars, and well-known enterprises to gather together to review the current situation and future development trends of the catering industry, discuss development together, and plan for the future.
