Overview of Beijing ISPO in 2023

From February 10th to 12th, 2023, the ISPO Beijing 2023 Asian Sporting Goods and Fashion Exhibition, held at the National Convention Center, attracted 368 domestic and foreign brands from 223 exhibitors, bringing in a total of 37623 industry visitors and sports enthusiasts, an increase of over 50% compared to the previous year.

After three years of absence, ISPO Beijing 2023, as the first sports outdoor exhibition after the epidemic was lifted, its explosive scene is as surprising as the extent to which the term "outdoor" has broken through in public life in the past three years.

ISPO Beijing Asian Sporting Goods and Fashion Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as ISPO Beijing) is hosted by Munich Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. It has been held for 18 years since its first time in 2005 and has become a professional sports goods trading platform.

Compared to the international market characteristics of ISPO Munich, which has a history of over 40 years, the ISPO Beijing usually held in December each year focuses more on the Asian market, outdoor and winter ice and snow sports, and pays attention to the rise and innovation of the Asia Pacific market.

Overview of Shanghai ISPO in 2023
From June 30 to July 2, 2023, ISPO Shanghai, which returned to the Shanghai New International Expo Center, attracted 511 domestic and foreign brands from 395 exhibitors at the 9th Asian (Summer) Sports Goods and Fashion Exhibition 2023, with a 50% increase in brand numbers compared to the previous year; A total of 40174 industry audiences and sports enthusiasts were welcomed, an increase of 100% compared to the previous year.

Compared to 2021, this ISPO has made significant breakthroughs in exhibition hall area, exhibition brands, and foot traffic: the brand has increased by 160+and the audience has increased by 20000+.

This year, there are a total of 6 exhibition halls, with 4 new ones added compared to the previous one, covering exhibition areas for camping life, outdoor sports, sports technology and new materials, water sports, urban sports, etc. Many new products have been unveiled, and a sports park themed exhibition area has been added, forming a full outdoor scene experience.

With the rise of outdoor trends, the types of visitors visiting exhibitions have also changed. In previous years, the majority of visitors to the Shanghai exhibition were manufacturers, retailers, and professional visitors. However, this year, there are many KOLs/KOCs and outdoor enthusiasts among the audience. Multiple exhibitors have provided feedback that the visitors to this exhibition are highly professional.

The exhibition starts from outdoor sports, camping life, water sports, winter sports, skiing equipment, urban sports, cycling, rock climbing, cycling and other sports lifestyles, showcasing cutting-edge trends, new brands, new products, and new technologies. Present popular topics such as sports+tourism, sports fashion trends, international industry exchanges, and brand overseas through forums, sharing, and other forms. The newly built "ISPO Sports Park" has further ignited the enthusiasm for public participation and national sports, injecting more vitality into the development of the industry.
