2、 Review of previous editions

The Western China International Equipment Manufacturing Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Western Manufacturing Expo) is an international equipment manufacturing expo approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China. It is jointly hosted by the China Machinery Industry Federation, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Shaanxi Provincial Leading Group for Revitalizing Equipment Manufacturing Industry, the Chengdu Municipal People's Government, and the Xi'an Municipal People's Government. It is held twice a year in Xi'an in March and Chengdu in July, It is an industry regular meeting integrating Products Show, trade ordering, academic discussion, investment negotiation and technical cooperation. Since 2003, the Western Expo has been successfully held for 31 consecutive sessions, including 21 sessions in Xi'an, 9 sessions in Chengdu, 1 session in Deyang, and 1 session in Mianyang. In March 2023, the 31st Western China Manufacturing Expo was successfully held at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center, with over 2300 exhibitors from over ten countries and regions including the United States, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, and China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan). There are over 4000 indoor exhibition booths, with a total exhibition area of 90000 square meters, attracting 120000 visitors from more than 20 industries both domestically and internationally. The on-site transaction volume is nearly 7 billion yuan. For the past 14 years, we have been adhering to the principles of professionalism, internationalization, and branding in the hearts of audiences, customers, and purchasers in the central and western provinces of China and Southwest China. We insist on showcasing high-end machine tools and metal processing equipment in China and around the world, and are committed to providing a platform for machine tool enterprises to meet customers and exchange technology. As the highest standard top-level industry event for machine tools and metal processing in central and western provinces of China, the 32nd exhibition in 2024 has a planned area of 110000 square meters and is expected to attract over 170000 professional visitors, providing unparalleled opportunities for domestic and foreign machine tool enterprises to explore the Southwest market and establish strategic cooperation.

Further strengthen the in-depth cooperation of industry media websites in various provinces and regions in the western region, Make the Western Expo the most widely promoted.

With the strong support of the co organizers, promotional conferences will be held gradually in the industrial concentration areas in the southwest, northwest, and other areas starting from August 2023, with a focus on inviting users from major mechanical manufacturing industries such as aviation, aerospace, military electronics, automotive manufacturing, energy and power equipment, and general machinery to visit the conference.

The data research department of 30 people collects, verifies, and invites professional audience data throughout the year. Focusing on the supervisory leadership, procurement department, equipment department, material department, as well as procurement, demand and technical control department personnel such as technology department and process department of the enterprise, exhibition information will be sent through telephone, email, electronic fax, mobile SMS and other means to verify and will be sent through mail and on-site distribution in the later stage to send visiting vouchers and exhibition guides.

Starting from October 2023, we will comprehensively invite small and medium-sized enterprises with purchasing power and demand to participate in exhibitions and purchases in major industrial concentration areas and areas where small and medium-sized supporting enterprises are concentrated through posters, briefings, and on-site distribution of visiting vouchers.
